Does this sound familiar?
Every time you have an argument, you either pull away or push harder.
Recurring conflicts scare you, so you either try not to engage or pursue it until it’s resolved.
You stopped saying what you need, because you rarely get it. And every conversation requires a lot of energy you just don’t have.
Relationships are the source of life’s greatest joys, and often, its greatest struggles. It doesn’t have to be this way.
THERAPY SERVICES I OFFER
Two ways I work, top-notch standard of care.
FOR COUPLES
Couples therapy that maps the pattern and changes it.
Most couples I see love each other. But they're caught in a loop they can’t break. I use three frameworks as one system to help couples move forward.
The Gottman Method
We map exactly where your conversations break down and how to talk without blame or defensiveness.
Relational Life Therapy
I coach each of you out of the habits that keep the loop running.
The Developmental Model
Helps show where your relationship is in its life cycle, and why growth can feel threatening. Then, you choose if you want to address it, with my help.
FOR WOMEN
Individual relationship therapy and EMDR.
From the outside, you hold it all together. Inside, the same patterns keep showing up in your relationships, and understanding them hasn't been enough to change them.
Individual relationship therapy
Understand how you connect, say what you need, and handle conflict and closeness differently.
EMDR therapy
Works with the memories and reactions behind the pattern, so the change is felt, not just understood.
Many clients do both: individual work can ease personal triggers so couples work moves faster.
COMMON STARTING POINTS
Start with what's most pressing right now.
Avoidant attachment
When you built walls to protect yourself from hurt, but it’s not working and you want to make changes.

HONEST FEEDBACK. REAL WORK.
You can be fully, unapologetically you here.
I'm Ania, a licensed marriage and family therapist with more than nine years of experience, based in the Twin Cities North Metro. I work with couples and with individuals who carry a lot of responsibility and want help that doesn't waste their time.
I coach and facilitate, not just listen. I'll tell you what I see, and I'll stay with you while you try something different. In couples work, I'm direct with both partners.
I'm an EMDRIA Certified Therapist, and I'm trained in the Gottman Method, Relational Life Therapy, and the Developmental Model.
If you're ready to stop managing this alone.
Your first session is where we begin. The Foundations Session is 90 minutes. We use that first session to talk through what's going on and decide together how to move forward.
